lyrics
shooting star,
fool you are
moon and sea,
my church and melody
the starry
can come and call me wrong
the coolest kids are free
to shoot me down
look inside the ocean
dimming lights in the ocean
swingin’ hips -- the ocean
read my lips because
every word is a sorry bride
every line has let you inside of me
rollin’ waves
over cramp and crave
peaceful days
over broken waves
the heavenly
can come and call me wrong
the merciful are free
to shoot me down
the lonely
can come and sing my song
the freest kids are singin’ all alone
every star is a burned-out bride
takin’ hits from the searchin’ tide
every ship has a sinkin’ side
every line has let you inside of me

I’m still waiting for my physical CD copy. I ordered back on March 2, 2023 and it said it would be here before March 18 but still waiting. Sent out two emails just wondering if it was sent and haven’t heard anything back. Next I will open a dispute with PayPal or BandCamp Ned

When I first heard Mercury, I had a hard time getting past the change in sound. Then I saw the band in '98 near Chicago at a reunion show, and everything made sense. After that show, Mercury became one of my favorite records of all time. HUMB shows what Mercury was intended to be, and it's raw, aggressively mixed, without the "arena" feel that Mercury has. The record sounds ahead of its time, honestly, and is a must-own for any TPC fan. A rare definitive statement from a groundbreaking band. djzachlorton
